Description

An easy dessert of baked apples filled with nuts and raisins, frosted with powdered sugar glaze, and coated in melted chocolate.

Ingredients

apple, tart, uniform in size and shape
4
nuts, chopped
0.75cup
raisin, chopped
0.75cup
tap water, cold
0.5cup
powdered sugar
1cup
tap water, lukewarm
1
vanilla extract
1tsp
unsweetened chocolate, melted
1square

Directions

1. Wash and core the apples 2. Put them in an over to table baking dish and cover with cold water 3. Bake slowly at 250 °F until tender 4. Do not let them lose their shape 5. Fill the center of each apple with chopped nuts and raisins and when the apples are done and cool, cover them with a frosting made from powdered sugar and a little lukewarm water along with vanilla 6. When cold and firm, coat the apples with the melted chocolate
